FACILITIES & RATES

Kingston House has several spaces available for hire.

• The main hall is ideal for parties and large functions such as weddings.
• A side hall adjacent to the above suitable for smaller functions and meetings.
• The Music Room, which is separate from the main building, with its own bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities, is suitable for meetings of up to 20 people.

Please note that the use of a large kitchen, tables and chairs are included in the cost of hire for the main and side halls. The Music Room hire includes tables and chairs.

Casual rates for hiring on weekdays are: Main hall $25 per hour, side hall $20 per hour, music room $25 per hour.

The weekend and public holiday rate for the main and side halls is $50 per hour. The rate is for either one or both of the spaces. The music room rate is $25 per hour.

For private functions, the building has a limit of 120 people. Please note that Kingston House does not hold an alcohol license, so you will not be able to sell drinks. We recommend that you speak to the Police to confirm whether or not you will need a liquor license for your function.

The use of the facility for weddings are charged at a fixed fee of $1150, inclusive of GST. This includes use of the main hall, side hall, kitchen, tables, chairs and the gardens. For weekend weddings the hire period goes from late afternoon on the Friday to allow for set up, until 10am on Sunday to allow time for cleaning up. Please note that the building must be empty by 12 midnight on the Friday and Saturday nights.
